Just as the leaves fall and the color fades from the Northeastern landscape, this 2-mile trail warms the hearts of children and adults alike. But ho ho ho, that’s not the only reason to hitch up your holiday sleigh and head to Hershey.

Over the river and through the woods… In this case, it’s a 2-mile stretch of trail alit with 2 million LED lights in about 600 animated displays. Hershey Sweet Lights are a quick drive from The Hotel Hershey, or a slightly longer spin from the other official resorts- Hershey Lodge and Hersheypark Camping Resort cabins.

Even if the weather outside is frightful, (as it was during our jaunt), you can completely enjoy Sweet Lights from the warmth of your vehicle. Simply tune your car’s radio to the designated Hersheypark station, and let the family Christmas carols begin! Our gang of four sang at the top of our lungs during the entire path. Fa La La La La La la La La. Drive through animated themes such as The Twelve Days of Christmas, Victorian Village, and Fairy Tales, and let visions of sugarplums dance in your head.

Hershey Sweet Lights are open nights daily from 5-10 pm, and on weekends and holidays and 5-11 as the holidays approach closer. (The final viewing evening is January 1st.)
Pricing
$19.15 per car (8 persons capacity) weekdays and $26.16 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. (Van admission is $34.15 every day.)
