Club Level at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort | An Extra Dusting of South Seas Magic

Blog· MOVE· Travel· Walt Disney World

“What’s a demigod gotta do???” Of course, the only answer is to check-in at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Club Level. Is location, location, location were not special enough?  This concierge experience at its King Kamehameha Club is indeed fit for a deity. Our royal family’s first stop at this destination was shortly after it opened in its present location in 1994. Thankfully, the magic has not lost its luster.

Disney's Polynesian Resort

Aloha

Alohas begin at your prime reception spot in the resort’s lobby. Seamlessly, they “shapeshift” to designated Cast Members in the Hawaii building.

Though Club Level rooms are standard in appointments (other than the 1 Bedroom Suites), they come with a priceless perk. From the Hawaii Longhouse, the views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and the Magic Kingdom are second-to-none on property. Fittingly, they are sprinkled with added pixie dust. Nothing beats the prime views of the fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant. (Especially during the Disney World 50th Celebration!!)

Extra bits of magic include nightly turndown service. (Yes, with chocolates on your pillow.) Additionally, complimentary newspapers, dining and special event assistance via the Disney Signature Services Team are all yours.

However, the ultimate bonus for every Tiki god is the Club Lounge offered in this building. Accessed via your MagicBand, this area is a slice of a South Seas paradise.

(Or daughter of the chief!)  Depending on the season, these accommodations start at an extra $100 per night. Therefore, the concierge perks could easily pay for themselves for a family of four or five. Set your sail for King Kamehameha Club!!! Mahalo. And you’re welcome…

Debbie can you tell us anything about the concierge meals at the club level in PVR? It looks like the menu changes daily? What time is it served?

      Hi Jill,
Aloha! As you can see from the King Kamehameha Club Lounge Schedule above, “dinner” (or the closest thing to it), it served from 5 to 7 pm. The menu varied widely during our stay here; essentially heavy hors d’oeuvres such as meat skewers and shrimp. Families have been known to call this “dinner,” though it never would have been enough for my crew! That said, it sure can take the edge off. Enjoy!! Didi
