Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened at Walt Disney World in August, 2019. The planet of Batuu became home to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Along with an assortment of droids and smugglers!
Disney Skyliner
This is a ground breaking transportation addition to the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Skyliner zips Guests across the sky. It operates between Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. It will transport you to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. International Gateway at Epcot too!

Epcot Forever
Unfortunately, this limited “fireworks” (and kite!) display has already finished its final show. Set to classic Disney tunes, the show was considered a place holder. (Hello Harmonious!)
New Disney Fine/Signature Disney Restaurants Open
Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera
Disney’s Riviera Resort welcomed fans of French/Italian cuisine at this new eatery. Perched atop the new tower, this view can’t be topped! Guests can take in views of the fireworks from Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot. A Character Breakfast too!
Toledo – Tapas, Steaks, and Seafood
Another rooftop hot spot opened at Gran Destino Tower this year. This jewel of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort offered fireworks views too. Also, delicious tapas, steaks, and seafood. Mucho gusto!!
Jaleo by José Andrés
This was Chef José Andrés fifth restaurant location. The chef is renown for his work as a humanitarian. However, he makes a wild paella and sangria tambien!
